About Khajjiar

The Mini Switzerland of India
Khajjiar is a picturesque hill station nestled in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Located at an altitude of 6,500 feet, this stunning destination is known for its lush green meadows, dense deodar forests, and a beautiful lake at its center.
In 1992, Vice President of the Swiss Federal Parliament officially recognized its resemblance to Switzerland. The area is also home to the ancient Khajji Nag temple, a 12th-century shrine dedicated to the Serpent God, featuring remarkable wooden architecture.
